G5 Homework March 09 – 13

1.) Complete your rap or write a new one; you can work with a partner. Your rap will have 1 Chorus (2 lines) and 2 Verses (2 – 4 lines each).  Don’t worry about the amount of syllables; you don’t have to follow a beat.

An example for two good lines of rap:

Learning things is not always easy

Science is hard. I don’t get it. Believe me!

2.) Rehearse your rap so you can perform it in this order:

Chorus – Verse 1- Chorus – Verse 2 – Chorus

School is cool but I disagree…

You may find this rhyming dictionary useful.

2) Write 2-4 sentences to answer the following questions:

– What is a turntable?

Use your own words. Your explanation does not have to be perfect.

Research on the internet and ask your parents. Don’t copy other people’s writing.
